PPF Warranty Explained

Paint Protection Film warranties typically run 5 to 10 years for TPU films and less for TPH and PVC, but the number of years is only part of the story. A film warranty generally covers manufacturing defects and failure modes like yellowing, cracking, blistering and delamination — not stone chips that go through the film, not edge lifting from poor installation, and not damage from improper care or harsh chemicals. Just as important is who honours it: the manufacturer, the importer, or the installing shop. On GoEV, PPF listings record both the warranty length and the warranty provider/type as structured fields, and where a listing claims a manufacturer-backed warranty it should carry documentation. This page explains the common terms so you can read a warranty properly before you buy.
