Paint Protection Film (PPF) in Pakistan

Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a transparent, self-healing urethane film applied over a car's factory paint to absorb stone chips, road rash, light scratches and chemical staining. On GoEV you can browse PPF as a proper marketplace category rather than a single article: filter by brand (XPEL, 3M, SunTek, LLumar, STEK, Avery Dennison and others), by film material (TPU, TPH or PVC), by finish (clear, gloss, matte, satin, black or coloured), by thickness in mils, by technology (self-healing, hydrophobic, ceramic-infused, anti-yellowing) and by manufacturer warranty length. Each listing carries structured specifications — material, thickness, top-coat technology, finish, adhesive, roll dimensions, warranty and expected service life — and a source for every technical value, so you are comparing verified data, not marketing copy. You can also select your vehicle to see only the packages and pre-cut kits that fit it, get quotes from installers in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad-Rawalpindi and other cities, and compare PPF against ceramic coating and vinyl wrap before you decide.

How PPF is sold

PPF is sold three ways: as a coverage package (front bumper, full front, full body and so on) priced per vehicle and fitted by an installer; as a pre-cut kit for a specific make and model; and as a bulk roll for installers. Package and kit prices depend on the film brand and tier, the panels covered and the labour involved in your city.

What to compare

The three specifications that matter most are film material (TPU self-heals and lasts longest; TPH is a mid-tier hybrid; PVC is entry-level and can yellow), thickness in mils (6-8 mil for daily protection, 10 mil+ for maximum stone-chip resistance), and the warranty — its length in years and, critically, who honours it and what it covers.

PPF vs ceramic coating vs vinyl wrap

PPF is a physical barrier that takes impacts; ceramic coating is a thin chemical layer that adds gloss and easy cleaning but no impact protection; vinyl wrap changes colour but is thinner and not self-healing. Many owners combine PPF on high-impact panels with a ceramic coating on top.
